We’re high school sweethearts who somehow knew pretty quickly that this was it. We started hanging out in high school, and after a couple of weeks of late-night drives and laughing way too much, Will asked Cadence to be his girlfriend… in his Jeep, of course. A few days later he told her he loved her. She thought, “Wow, that’s soon,” but it didn’t take long before she realized she felt the exact same way.

From then on, we just fit. We grew up together, survived long distance while Will played baseball, and learned that no matter what life threw at us, we didn’t give up on each other. We’ve had ups, downs, and everything in between but we always found our way back to the same place: together.

Years later, while celebrating our anniversary, we hiked to a beautiful overlook. At the top, with the prettiest view behind us, Will got down on one knee and asked the question we’d been dreaming about since high school.

And now here we are planning our forever, still laughing, still choosing each other, and so excited to celebrate with all the people who have been part of our journey.
